Novosibirsk academic symphony orchestra and conductor Thomas Sanderling released the next in turn compact-disc

It is not the first year when our symphony orchestra under the direction of Thomas Sanderling works on anthology of symphonic works by Sergey I. Taneev. This is already the third album of the project where the Second and the Forth symphonies by composer entered.

In Novosibirsk the Russian premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki composition, devoted to memory of victims of 11 September

On 26 October in Novosibirsk the Russian premiere of the Concert for piano with orchestra by Krzysztof Penderecki took place. The composition was performed by Novosibirsk academic symphony orchestra under the direction of the author, Alexander Guindin was the soloist.
Maestro Penderecki told that in 2001 he was occupied by composing of Capriccio for piano with orchestra. «At this time there an act of terrorism in New York took place. It shocked me very much. And I decided that at that moment there was not a moment for Capriccio, so I changed the concept of composition».

Jazz orchestra «Siberian Dixieland» is back from the tour

On 13-15 August the ensemble performed at the stage of the oldest Polish festival of traditional jazz «Zlota Tarka» in Ilava. The Festival lasted three days and the Dixieland appeared on the stage every day.

Vocal ensemble of Pavel Sharomov returned from France

Since 20 till 29 July in the frames of the festival “Music holidays in Savoie” the musicians gave five concerts. One of them was a solo one, a capella, it included Russian sacred music, folklore and spirituals, and in other four concerts the ensemble performed with the festival orchestra under the direction of Andrey Galanov (Minsk).

Russian Academic orchestra released two new albums

One of them “The orchestra and its soloists” is dedicated to instrumental music, and other one “Clear snow” – to the vocal one.

The second CD is recorded in collaboration with Moscow soloist Tatyana Petrova.

Michail V. Kositsyn has died

The collective of Novosibirsk state philharmonic society and the Academic symphony orchestra inform with deep regret that on 19 June on a 62-nd year of his life the soloist of the orchestra, the honored artist of Russia, the gentleman of the Award of Honour Michail V.Kositsyn has died from heavy illness.

Novosibirsk academic symphony orchestra received an invitation to close a concert season of Perm philharmonic society

The concert takes place on 8 June, in Schumann's birthday, and will be devoted to the 200 anniversary from the date of Schumann's birth and to the 170 anniversary from the date of Tchaikovsky’s birth.
